Week 29

This week we are having Literacy Night at our school.  It is this Thursday, March 22 from 6:00-8:00 pm.  You do not want to miss this great activity!  For more information, please view the flyers on the right side of the blog.

Please make sure the reading logs are up to date and the math homework is completed online.

Here are a few things that we are doing today:

Language Arts:

• Spelling - There are no words this week as we will be reviewing.  We will also practice adding suffixes to words (ing, ed, er, s)
• Dictation Sentences:
• Draw a tiny picture about a happy teacher.
• Dogs like playing with balls and toys.

• Word Wall Words - about, draw, happy, teacher, part, tiny   (Quiz Friday)
• Comprehension - Finding details in reading
• Writing - class book

Math:

•  Test on Wednesday about comparing numbers to 100.
• Introduce measurement

Social Studies/Science/Art

• Community Helpers
