Time is flying by! We only have 8 more weeks of school! Please remember to have your child read daily and mark the reading log. It is exciting to see the growth of the students. I am going to start sending home one page each week for the students to practice reading comprehension. It is important that they answer the questions in complete sentences. We will be using similar practice pages in class as well, but I really want the students to excel and feel comfortable responding through writing. I will send it home on Mondays and have it returned each Friday.
This week for online homework, I am going to give you a different website to use. The kids will love the various games. We are going to compete in a competition to see how many problems we can complete in one week (April 16th - April 20th). If you can have your child spend a few minutes each day playing these games, we will have opportunities to win prizes from the website. I have set up the username and password to be the same as it is for PearsonSuccessNet and please look in the red folder for a little card with the login info.
